T. Brian George

With over 20 years of experience in the banking industry, TBrian George is a seasoned professional specializing in third-party risk governance, vendor management, and supply chain management. His extensive expertise in these areas has positioned him as a trusted leader in managing complex relationships and ensuring operational resilience in financial services organizations.

Mr. George holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Alcorn State University and an MBA in Business Administration from Montreat College, further complementing his academic credentials with a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University (2021). This diverse educational background reflects his multifaceted career, where he blends business acumen with a strong commitment to nonprofit leadership.

Since 2019, Mr. George has served as the Board Chair and Executive Director of the B.E.A.M. Foundation, a position that enables him to drive the organization’s mission of empowering underserved communities through education, outreach, and strategic partnerships. His leadership has been pivotal in steering the foundation towards greater impact, utilizing his expertise in governance and management to enhance organizational effectiveness.

KEVIN HENDERSON

Mr. Henderson is originally from Columbia, SC. He and his wife Yolanda have been married for 17 years and reside in the Metro Charlotte area with their son Kaysen. He received his B.A. in Social Studies/History from South Carolina State University. Mr. Henderson has 20+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales Management, Management, Global Business Development, and complex enterprise negotiation experience. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, having served aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex LHD-2 as a commissioning crew member.

Mr. Henderson is very active in his local community, participating in various mentoring, community service, and faith-based programs to uplift and empower others, especially the underrepresented. He has been at MS for 9 years, based in Charlotte the entire time. Mr. Henderson is a Senior Deal Manager (Licensing Executive) on the Americas Business Desk, where he provides customized deal solutions for the largest enterprise and strategic customers to drive digital transformation and accelerate customers’ cloud journeys.

Mr. Henderson is an active Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity Inc. He is a licensed Minister at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Charlotte, NC. He is on the Board of Directors and serves as the Treasurer for the BEAM Foundation (Charlotte). In his spare time, Mr. Henderson enjoys reading, working out, spending time with his family, traveling, and partaking in great cuisine.

Mr. Henderson has a true passion for inspiring youth and adults through embracing the powerful concept of positive thinking and the transformative effect of projecting a positive and polished self-image.

Bryan Sturgies

Mr. Bryan Sturgies, PE graduated from N.C. State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1987. Mr. Sturgies is an accomplished licensed engineering professional that has over 35 years of engineering, design, project management and consulting experience in power generation, facilities design and renewable energy industries.

Mr. Sturgies has an extensive record of effectively planning, executing, and leading vitally important and complex engineering projects and has comprehensive knowledge of energy plant and facilities operations, maintenance, and engineering procedures. He has a diverse employment background including working for an Electric Utility company, an Architectural and Engineering firm, an Energy Management company, and an Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) company.

Currently, Mr. Sturgies owns and operates Stringer Sturgies Group, LLC, an independent engineering and construction company focusing on M.E.P. design, consulting and construction services in the private commercial and federal marketplaces.

Mr. Sturgies is very involved in the Charlotte, NC community. He actively participates on the Board of Directors for the BEAM Foundation, Inc. and Do Greater Charlotte, Inc. Mr. Sturgies is engaged to Ms. Elda Rosa Coulthrust and he has one daughter, Maya Sturgies.

MICHAEL DANIEL

Michael Daniel is a Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance Group for Wells Fargo Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB). Michael is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing debt financing transactions for clients in the Industrials sector with a focus on the Chemicals, Automotive Retailing and Aftermarket Automotive Product verticals.

Michael has 11 years of experience with Wells Fargo having spent the entirety of his career to date in the Leveraged Finance Group. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Michael spent six years at Goldman Sachs in the Credit Risk Management & Advisory Group and worked in the New York and London offices.

Michael is the VP of Finance and serves as a board member for the B.E.A.M (Building Excellence Affirming Manhood) Foundation. The B.E.A.M Foundation is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3), community-based organization serving African American communities throughout Charlotte. Michael has also served as a mentor in the 100 Black Men of Charlotte, Inc. Michael continues to provide leadership in support of diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at Wells Fargo where he serves on the Management Leadership for Tomorrow (M.L.T.) recruiting team. Michael was an initial member of the CIB Banking Human Capital Committee. The Human Capital Committee is charged with driving key human capital priorities for Banking, focused on investing in our culture, people, and DE&I initiatives.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Morehouse College and a Master of Business Administration from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Wilkins Kee

Wilkins Kee is a highly proficient market research executive with over two decades of comprehensive experience in the development and implementation of voice-of-customer programs that transform client experiences. 

Holding a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Wilkins combines strong academic foundations with practical expertise to drive significant change across various business sectors.

Throughout his career, Wilkins has demonstrated a relentless focus on client needs and a keen understanding of business drivers. 

With a skill set that includes analytical plans and frameworks, information translation, stakeholder collaboration, and strategic marketing, Wilkins Kee is dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and driving business success through informed decision-making and innovative solutions.

Robert D. Mahoney, III

Robert D. Mahoney, III is a native of Rockville, Maryland

1985 Graduate of Bowie State University – Bachelor of Science Communications Media
2011 Graduate of Ashford University – Master of Public Administration

Robert (Moe, to close friends) served in the US ARMY as a Field Artillery Officer from 1985 to 1994, receiving various awards and accommodations to include the Senior Parachutist Badge and the Meritorious Service Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters. He served as the Adjutant and Battalion Operations Officer, later as the Commander of a Field Artillery Battery in Korea. He previously served as a Fire Support Officer for Light, Airborne, and Air Calvary units, with Close Air and Naval Gunfire Certifications.

Departing the military in 1994 he began working for a defense contractor in Los Angeles, California for two years. He arrived in Charlotte, North Carolina in April of 1996 and worked as a Group Home Counselor, Pizza Delivery Driver and Juvenile Court Counselor with the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. In late November of 2000 he began service with the City of Charlotte as a Community Improvement Inspector and later served the city as a Code Enforcement Inspector, a Contract Technician, Contract Services Manager, and as the Small Business Administrator before obtaining the position as the Customer Services Manager of Solid Waste Services. 

He is involved in, and holds leadership positions in, several organizations. They include the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections – Chief Judge, National Alumni Association of Bowie State University – Charlotte Chapter President, Bowie State Hall of Fame (Class – 2019), Board Member of the Piedmont Chapter of the American Society of Public Administrators (ASPA), Board Member of the Building Excellence Affirming Manhood (BEAM) Foundation, the Southern Piedmont Chapter of the National Forum of Black Public Administrators (NFBPA), Usher Ministry at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church – Head Usher, The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Title I Parent and Community Advisory Council, SCOUT Reach Advisory Council, and the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Beta Nu Lambda Chapter, currently serving as the Association of North Carolina Alphamen (ANCA), Area-V Director. He continues to serve on the chapter’s Education Committee, Social Activities Committee, and the Community Service Committees. Robert also serves with his neighborhood and lifelong friends ‘The Cracker Jack Pack’ in giving back to the Lincoln Park Community/Families of Rockville, Md where he grew up. 

He’s been married to Monica for more than three decades with a son Spencer (UNC-G), a daughter Rebecca (NC A&T), and a grandson Asada Harris, Jr. affectionately known as AJ. He is an uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews. He is a devoted Christian, a brother to some, friend to many, and can often be found near a grill or smoker at festivities.

Dr. Norris Williams

Dr. Norris Williams is a dedicated educator with 25 years of experience across a variety of roles in the education sector. Currently serving as the Deputy Superintendent for Operations and Administration in the Lancaster County School District, Dr. Williams brings a wealth of expertise in driving student success and ensuring strategic alignment for students and their families. His career has spanned across teaching, coaching, mentoring, and school administration, with a strong commitment to fostering educational environments where students thrive.

Dr. Williams has been a mentor with the BEAM Foundation for the past 10 years, helping to guide and inspire future leaders in education. Known for his passion for student achievement and his ability to implement effective systems, Dr. Williams continues to advocate for excellence in education through his leadership and mentorship.
