About Joshua
Joshua Dancy is an exceptional student and leader at Charlotte Engineering Early College High School, where he balances academics with his roles as Vice President of the REHL Wynn Investment Club and team member of the CEEC eSports program. An entrepreneur at heart, Joshua owns and operates a vending machine business and serves as Teen Chaplain for the Queen City Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
His dedication to service is reflected in his involvement as a Junior Chess Club Coach and Teen Leader at Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Joshua’s achievements include induction into the National Technical Honor Society and participation in prestigious college programs, such as the Johns Hopkins NSLC Aerospace Engineering Program and NC State Emerging Scholars Academy.
Aspiring to become an astrogeologist, Joshua plans to study Planetary Science to explore sustainable energy sources beyond Earth. Through the Alpha Beautillion program, he seeks to refine his communication skills, embrace challenges with grace, and prepare for a future of innovation and discovery.
