Grayson AKER

About Grayson

Grayson Aker is a student at Hickory Ridge High School, where he actively participates in the Black Student Union and the Broadcasting Team. Outside of school, Grayson serves as the Youth Usher Lead at The Park Church in Charlotte and is the Co-Creator and Host of The Parkcast podcast. He is also a member of the Executive Board for the Wake Forest College LAUNCH Young Leader program and has contributed to community service through meal packing with Lifeline Christian Mission at the Charlotte Centre.

Grayson has been recognized for his academic achievements on the A/B Honor Roll and holds CPR certification. He is considering attending Morehouse College, Xavier University of Louisiana, North Carolina A&T State University, Tennessee State University, or North Carolina Central University. Grayson views his ability to stay focused and work well under pressure as one of his greatest strengths. Through the Alpha Beautillion program, he hopes to develop his public speaking skills, grow as a leader, and enhance his ability to present himself professionally. A quote that resonates with him is, “Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.”
