University of North Carolina Early High School College
Parents and Guardians: Carolyn Green
Extracurricular: I am a motivated high school senior student who demonstrates a strong work ethic and creative ability. I’m also very honest, polite, and responsible. I have a strong desire to learn and achieve new goals. My career goal is to be a Civil Engineer. I chose that career path to help design safer roads. I lost my mother in a car accident when I was eight years old. I believe that had there not been a blind spot and more streetlights in the neighborhood, she would be here taking this journey from high school to college with me. Another reason I would like to be a Civil Engineer is to make the roadsides safer for families by making sure sidewalks are placed in neighborhoods. Having access to sidewalks will hopefully decrease pedestrians being hit by cars. I know that I’m just 17 years old, however, there is still a lot that I can contribute. I would like to attend the University of North Carolina – Charlotte. I am asking you to assist me with this goal, by donating to my scholarship. I have always heard it take a village. Please consider being a part of my village. I want to make my mother and family proud.
